What Is Nationally Recognised Training?
NATIONALLY RECOGNISED TRAINING (NRT)
What is Nationally Recognised Training (NRT)?
Nationally Recognised Training (NRT) refers to training that is based on a nationally endorsed training package or accredited course, recognised across Australia by employers, industry, and government bodies. It leads to formal qualifications and credentials that align with the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).
NRT includes:
-
Training package qualifications
-
Accredited qualifications
-
Accredited courses
-
Skill sets from training packages
-
Units of competency and accredited modules
All nationally recognised training is listed on the National Register of Vocational Education and Training (VET) and can only be delivered by Registered Training Organisations (RTOs).
Corrsafe Enterprises Pty Ltd (RTO 40621)
Corrsafe is an authorised RTO delivering nationally recognised qualifications and units of competency under the AQF. When you complete a course with Corrsafe, you will receive a Statement of Attainment or Qualification that is recognised by industry and employers throughout Australia.
We display the Nationally Recognised Training (NRT) logo on our materials to confirm the course meets national standards in accordance with its official conditions of use as set by the Australian Government.
Breakdown of NRT Types

Accredited Qualifications and Courses

When delivered standalone (outside of a program), they are reported as non-program subjects.
What is Non-Nationally Recognised Training?
This refers to training that does not lead to a nationally recognised certification. It includes:
Locally developed programs or skill sets created by training providers or industry groups.
Non-accredited modules (self-contained learning blocks not linked to formal qualifications).
Non-NRT is not listed on training.gov.au and may be delivered by any training provider, not just RTOs.
