CSQ Funding
Construction Skills Queensland Funding
“Corrsafe Is A Proud Recipient Of Construction Skills Queensland Funding”
What is CSQ Funding?
Construction Skills Queensland (CSQ) is an independent, not-for-profit, industry-funded organisation that supports employers, workers, apprentices, trainees, and career seekers in Queensland’s building and construction industry.
Through its funding programs, CSQ helps reduce the financial barrier to training, making it easier and more affordable for people in the industry to upskill or gain new qualifications. CSQ-funded training is delivered by approved Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) across Queensland.
CSQ covers most or all of the training cost, generally between 75% and 100%, with participants or employers sometimes contributing a small co-contribution fee, depending on the course. This ensures quality, accessible training that helps build a stronger, safer, and more skilled construction workforce in Queensland.
How does CSQ Funding Work?
CSQ Funding is a Queensland Government initiative that helps reduce training costs for eligible workers in the construction industry. If you hold a White Card and currently work (or have recently worked) in construction, you may qualify for subsidised training on selected courses. To access funding, please contact Corrsafe. If you are deemed eligible for CSQ funding, we will collect the required evidence and documentation from you before your training begins. All paperwork must be submitted before you start your course to receive the subsidy. Construction Skills Queensland funding is paid directly to Corrsafe. Where CSQ funding does not cover the full cost of the program, you will be required to contribute towards the remaining course fees.
