Prerequisites & Entry Requirements
πΉ Minimum Age: Participants must be 18 years of age or older
πΉ Language, Literacy & Numeracy (LLN): Proficient in English and numeracy to read safety documents, communicate with others, and complete written assessments
πΉ Identification: 100 points of identification (e.g., driver’s licence, passport, Medicare card)
πΉ PPE Requirements: Participants must wear enclosed footwear and may be required to provide or wear safety gear such as hard hats, gloves, safety harnesses, and high-visibility clothing
Course Duration
π Full Course: Typically 3 days, including classroom theory, practical training, and formal assessment
Course Delivery Methods
π Face-to-Face Training: Conducted at our Corrsafe training facility or on-site at your workplace (conditions apply)
π Prelearning: Online Pre-course reading materials may be provided prior to the commencement of the face-to-face training to assist with preparation.

Assessment Methods
Assessment includes:
π Theory Assessment: Written and/or oral assessments based on WHS legislation, safe EWP operations, and emergency procedures
π§ Practical Demonstration: Safe operation of a boom-type EWP over 11 metres in length in a controlled environment
π Licensing Assessment: Must be conducted by a Safe Work accredited assessor in accordance with WHSQ requirements
Certificate & Outcome
Upon successful completion, participants will receive:
π Statement of Attainment: TLILIC0005 – Licence to Operate a Boom-Type Elevating Work Platform (issued by Corrsafe RTO 40621)
π Assessment Summary (AS1): Required for High Risk Work Licence application through WorkSafe QLD
This qualification is nationally recognised and enables participants to apply for a High Risk Work Licence (HRWL – Class WP)
