If you are considering upskilling in the building construction industry, you may be able to receive support from Construction Skills Queensland.

Funded Short Courses

Construction Skills Queensland (CSQ) assists the Queensland Building Construction Industry by providing funding through Registered Training Organisations such as Corrsafe Enterprises Pty Ltd RTO40621 for training and skills development.

Construction Skills Queensland funds a variety of programs to reduce the cost for participants or their employers.

Short Courses

A program for High Risk Work Licence Training and Assessment and short courses such as Work Safely At Heights and Enter and Work In Confined spaces.

Participant Eligibility

An Existing Worker is a current Employee in the Building Construction Industry who has a one month or more employment relationship with their Employer.

The working relationship can be built up through full time, part time or casual employment or engagement as a contract worker.

For the purposes of eligibility, Participants under this Agreement must meet the following criteria:

(a) An Australian or New Zealand citizen; or

(b) A permanent resident of Australia; or

(c) A refugee and humanitarian visa holder.


(a) Permanently reside in Queensland; or

(b) Be permanently employed in Queensland.

Short Course Funding Information

Funding provided by Construction Skills Queensland under this program is a contribution towards the cost of providing training and assessment services required for the delivery of each Nationally Accredited Unit Of Competency.

Funding is not provided for the purposes of covering the cost of a participant applying for a High Risk Work License from a regulatory authority where required.

Construction Skills Queensland provide funding to the Registered Training Organisation in the form of a contribution per nominal hour against each eligible short course listed and completed.

Participants are eligible for a maximum of three short courses in the same program period.

We will provide:

  • All activity books, work books, learners guides, assessments, pens, training materials for each course you complete.
  • Receipt for payments you make to us outlining courses complete.
  • High visibility vest and hard hat.
  • Statement Of Attendance, Statement of Attainment, Photographic Identification Card for each course completed.

Coprrsafe acknowledges the funding provided by Construction Skills Queensland for all of these programs.
