Course Overview
This combined program delivers two nationally recognised units:
🔹 UETDRMP018 – Perform rescue from a live low voltage panel (UET Transmission, Distribution and Rail Sector Training Package).
🔹 HLTAID009 – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLT Health Training Package).
Participants will develop the knowledge and practical skills required to:
🔹 Safely rescue a person from a live low voltage electrical panel in line with the Electrical Safety Regulation 2013 (QLD), Australian Standards, and industry best practices.
🔹 Provide effective CPR in a range of emergency situations in accordance with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines.
All training and assessment are conducted under realistic workplace conditions, using industry-standard equipment, and in compliance with ASQA, WHSQ, ESO, and ARC requirements.

🛠️ Training is delivered directly by Corrsafe Enterprises Pty Ltd (RTO 40621). No third-party providers are used.
Training and assessment are conducted in compliance with the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (Qld), relevant Codes of Practice, and all applicable Commonwealth, State and Territory legislation.
The Nationally Recognised Training (NRT) logo is used in accordance with the NRT Logo Conditions of Use Policy.

What You’ll Learn
The combined course covers the following key areas:
Low Voltage Rescue
✅ Identifying organisational procedures for low voltage panel rescue.
✅ Conducting hazard identification and implementing risk control measures.
✅ Safely isolating electrical sources.
✅ Selecting, checking, and using personal protective equipment (PPE).
✅ Executing rescue operations from live low voltage panels.
✅ Applying workplace emergency procedures and basic casualty management.
✅ Understanding and complying with relevant legislation, codes of practice, and Australian Standards.
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
✅ Recognising and responding to emergency situations requiring CPR.
✅ Performing CPR on adults, children, and infants following ARC guidelines.
✅ Using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) correctly.
✅ Understanding breathing and cardiac emergencies and appropriate responses.
✅ Complying with legal responsibilities, duty of care, and workplace first aid requirements.
Prerequisites & Entry Requirements
🔹 Prerequisites:Participants must have completed HLTAID009 – Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation(Or complete alongside this unit) CPR must remain current (12 months) at the time of issuing this UETDRMP018 – Perform rescue from a live low voltage panel.
🔹 Minimum Age: Participants must be at least 14 years old.
🔹 Literacy & Numeracy:Participants must complete a Language, Literacy, and Numeracy (LLN) assessment to ensure they can meet course requirements. We offer LLN assistance, learning support, and referrals to other services. Speak with our team before enrolment if you require additional assistance.
🔹 Physical Requirements: Must be physically capable of performing uninterrupted CPR on an adult manikin placed on the floor for at least 2 minutes.
🔹 ID Requirements: Valid photo ID, please refer to page 9 of Evidence of Identity document.
🔹 USI Requirement: Participants must have a Unique Student Identifier (USI) to enrol. Visit www.usi.gov.au for more info. Corrsafe verifies each USI with the Registrar prior to its use, in accordance with the Student Identifiers Act.
🔹 PPE: Participants must wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including closed in shoes.

📌 Note: Regardless of pathway, all practical training and assessment must be completed face-to-face under the supervision of a qualified assessor using industry-standard equipment.

Note: Assessment is conducted in accordance with the Standards for RTOs and the unit’s assessment conditions.
Assessment Methods
Assessment is competency-based and includes:
📖 Knowledge Assessment – Written/multiple-choice questions covering underpinning theory and legislative knowledge.
🛠 Practical Demonstration – Simulated LVR rescue and CPR scenarios, including AED use, hazard identification, PPE, and casualty management.
📋 Scenario-Based Assessment – Workplace-style emergencies requiring application of rescue and CPR procedures under organisational and safety requirements.
All assessments must be completed in person, observed by a qualified assessor, using industry-standard equipment, and in line with unit requirements.
Certificate & Outcome
Upon successful completion of all training and assessment requirements, participants will be issued with:

This certification is:
✔️ Nationally recognised under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).

✔️ Meets the Electrical Safety Regulation 2013 (QLD) requirement for maintaining LVR competency.

📌 Currency Requirements: Both LVR and CPR must be refreshed every 12 months to maintain compliance with WHSQ, ESO, and ARC requirements.
Completion of this unit does not grant any electrical licence or authorisation. Authorisation to work near electrical apparatus is determined by the network operator or employer.

Funding
UETDRMP018 – Perform Rescue From a Live Low Voltage Panel course is eligible for Construction Skills Queensland (CSQ) funding under the 2025 –2026 Short Course Program. CSQ provides financial support to help upskill Queensland’s building and civil construction workforce.
CSQ Subsidy available: $50.00
Student Contribution: $50.00
(Fully funded by Construction Skills Queensland + $50.00 non-funded administration fee)
Applicants must receive written confirmation of CSQ funding approval before commencing training, as retrospective claims are not permitted. Funding is subject to eligibility and availability.

HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resucitation
🔹 Physical Requirements: Participants must be physically able to kneel on the floor and perform a minimum of two minutes of uninterrupted CPR on a manikin as per ARC guidelines.
Corrsafe Enterprises Pty Ltd does not accept prepaid fees exceeding $1500 per learner prior to delivery. All fee management complies with Clause 18 of the Compliance Standards 2025.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
RPL is available for experienced workers who can demonstrate existing competency against the unit requirements. Applicants must provide verified evidence such as workplace documents, permits, logbooks, photographs, employer statements, or other relevant proof of current skills.
All evidence is assessed against the unit’s performance criteria, knowledge evidence, and assessment conditions.
If gaps are identified, learners will be offered gap training and assessment to ensure full competency.
