This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to work safely at heights in the resources and infrastructure industries. It applies to those working in operational roles. They generally work under supervision to undertake a prescribed range of functions involving known routines and procedures and take responsibility for the quality of work outcomes. Admission Criteria

This course does not have any formal prerequisites. Nonetheless, it is essential that you have fundamental skills in reading, writing, and mathematics. An assessment in Language, Literacy, and Numeracy (LLN) may be necessary before you can enrol.

Achievement Recognition

Participants who fulfill all the necessary assessment criteria, settle any outstanding payments, and provide all the requisite supporting documents will receive a Nationally Accredited Statement of Attainment along with a Photographic Identification Card.

Validity & Renewal of Course

Typically, this course requires renewal every 2 years. However, depending on specific industry or organisational standards, a more frequent or extended renewal period might be necessary. Participants are allowed to update their skills at any point during this timeframe to meet any industry or company requirements.
